Robert Wilkos founded VIP Jets after more than 16 years in private aviation, building the company the way he believes this industry should work: on relationships, not advertising spend. Some of his clients have flown with him for 15 years and counting — a track record he credits to a simple approach: know what your client needs before they have to explain it twice, and never let price be the reason they look elsewhere.
Robert manages VIP Jets’ back-office operations personally — aircraft sourcing, financials, and vendor relationships — so that every advisor on his team, and every client they serve, benefits from operator pricing built over a decade and a half of repeat business. That same relationship-first approach is now driving VIP Jets’ push into government and institutional charter and fuel supply work, backed by a rare double-minority fuel supplier certification held within the company.
When he’s not sourcing aircraft, Robert is focused on growing VIP Jets’ advisor team — recruiting experienced aviation professionals who want the backing of an established brand and back office without losing the personal, relationship-driven approach that built their book of business.
